CTA Abd/Pel and/or Enterography

Please arrive 30 minutes early for your exam

All patients for CT abdomen or abdomen and pelvis must arrive 30 minutes before their appointment to drink oral contrast.

  1. No food 4 hours before prior to appointment, a small amount of water is permitted.
  2. Take medication as normal.
  3. Please bring your requisition (unless your physician already submitted it on your behalf), Alberta Health Care card (or out of town province health care card), and photo identification with you to your exam!
  4. We are a scent-free environment. Please refrain from from using perfumes or heavily scented products when you or your care giver enter our clinics. Many of our staff are sensitive to perfumes and scented products. Using perfumes or heavily scented products may disrupt the completion of your exam.
