Community Involvement
Insight Medical Imaging has been a part of Edmonton’s fabric for over 80 years; we grew and changed with the community! As a part of the city and surrounding area, we strive to be involved in community affairs.
We support you in medical, educational, and humanitarian capacities. We partner with NAIT to support its diagnostic imaging program, providing scholarships to students in multiple programs such as medical radiologic technology (MRT), combined laboratory and X-ray technology (CLXT), and diagnostic medical sonography (DMS).
These students also receive valuable training and practical experience working alongside our experienced technologists through practicum placements. As a responsible industry provider and employer, we recognize that we have a responsibility to the future of healthcare in our community.
Insight Medical Imaging is also very proud to contribute to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure. Since 2015, we have sponsored the event, providing free breakfast, snacks, and special breast-related items for everyone in attendance. This year, our team provided pink toques, sunglasses, cookies and raised just under $3,900 to generate awareness and help fund lifesaving research for breast cancer.
We at Insight take great pride in championing the Oil Kings Adopt-A-School Program. Through our sponsorship, we extend the invaluable opportunity for students in our community to immerse themselves in the thrilling experience of an Oil Kings hockey game.
We’re proud to support Breast Friends, a local organization making a meaningful impact in the fight against breast cancer. Their dedication to raising awareness and supporting those affected aligns with our values, and we’re honored to contribute to their incredible work in our community.
