Insight Medical Imaging is a radiologist-owned and operated practice. We’re not only a diagnostic imaging provider for Albertans, we’re also a talent destination for the best and brightest in the industry.

We have a blended clinic and hospital-based practice with 27 radiologist partners and associates. Our multi-modality clinics are located throughout the capital region and offer access to 1.5T MRI, 64-slice CT, echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, nuclear medicine, pain management, and women’s imaging.

All of our radiologists are registered members with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta and we encourage all of our partners and associates to continue their medical education through subspecialty training in modalities of interest.

Major Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Board of Management (BOM) and Partnership

  • Scheduling and organization of monthly BOM and Partnership Meetings including the development of materials and documents, taking meeting minutes, and tracking action items to completion.
  • Assist with compiling, formatting, proofreading, and ensuring accurate distribution of letters, proposals, legal documents, corporate communications, contracts, organizational charts, presentations, and agreements.
  • Perform administrative support tasks including expenses, planning event budget, calendar management (including booking travel if necessary, meeting organization, and conference calls with both external and internal individuals).
  • Assist with project work, liaison with departments, managers, and staff to facilitate information gathering and problem resolution.
  • Responsible for Associate onboarding and all necessary paperwork
  • Plan and execute details of the annual Spring Partnership Dinner, annual Fall Partnership dinner, annual Jasper Retreat, and any retirement functions.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Board of Management and Partnership teams.

Leadership Team

  • Attend all executive and leadership meetings; taking meeting minutes and tracking action items to completion. Ensure meetings begin on time and with prep material distributed in advance.
  • Assist the Executive team with calendar management, meetings, conference calls, travel, setting up vendor accounts, and administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Booking management events as required.
  • Book travel arrangements for staff as necessary.
  • Provide back up to the leadership teams while on vacation, including approving timecards.

Job Description

As a Receptionist, you play an integral role in all our journeys, by ensuring that we continue to provide reliable, accurate, and compassionate services to our patients, referring physicians, and your coworkers.

As the first point of contact in the clinic, you will set the tone for our patient journey within the clinic, as such we expect that you will enter every interaction with respect and dignity by providing every patient with clear, detailed, and timely care.

Your main responsibilities will include checking patients in for exams, booking follow-up studies as required, coordinating patients for multiple exams, ensuring that all front desk responsibilities are completed, all while ensuring a smooth patient and clinic flow.

Major Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Greeting and checking in of all patients.
  • Documentation of patient information on computer.
  • Notifies appropriate department of patient arrival.
  • Ensures all previous examinations are imported.
  • Porter and change patients in preparation for exams.
